Outlook appointment tracking not updating
Processing reports manually is as simple as selecting the report in your Inbox folder (don’t move it to another folder), mark it as read and then delete it.If the report was not broken, you should now see the special report icon on your sent item.I’m trying to use the tracking feature to ensure my mail is actually being delivered. In the Message Options, I selected the option “Request a delivery receipt for this message”.Additionally, you will learn how to make Outlook send a specific type of update, depending on the meetings properties that you want to change. In a few words, in Outlook 20 you can no longer make critical changes on a meeting without sending an update.
I ended us clicking on "Update Folder" under "Send/Receive", this actually forced it. Is there an auto-sync setting that I need to check?
In the on-line help for Outlook it says that this tracking information should be shown when opening the sent item.
However, I see no such information within my sent item.
This method also works for when you got an answer to a meeting invitation via telephone, at the water cooler or via any other means besides Outlook.
